[ If u start to read, then pls read rhe whole dnt leave it in middle.]

No,positive think never be a selfishness. It gives u strenght to overcome any problems. It builts ur mental strenght.
Positive thinkings is to think positive which gives u strenght to stand at any position. If u r in the worst condition, then what vl u do?..U hv 2 think positive to come out frm it completely.the thing ws already done,nw u can do nthing with it.nw to think positive-think hw u get benefit frm it/to get as sock less as possible. If u vl nt do this,u vl go in depression. No one can help u as much as ur thinking can help u.
So,nw i hope u atleast get that positive thinking is nt selfishness.By that way ur just helping ur self without hearting anyone.

marc aurel, an antique roman, said a couple of thousand years ago "over the course of time, our soul adopt the color of our thoughts" (sorry, translated from latin to english, might sound a little bumpy).

but anyway, positive thinking is about two things: first, acknowledging that positive thinking results in a positive attitude, whereas negative thinking results in a negative attitude. as a matter of fact, a positive attitude makes life much more easygoing and enjoyable than a negative one.
(. this is the reason why i dont read any newspapers - they are full of negative news only.)

the second thing which enters into positive thinking is known as "self fulfilling prophecy". if we think we will fail, exactly this will happen.

anyway, positive thinking has nothing at all to do with selfishness, but much more with living in peace with oneself and I even say it's making the world a better place.

positive thinking is looking at the good side of things. Like if you dropped a bowl of cereal and made a mess. The up side of that is...at least the bowl didn't break.
It has nothing to do with being selfish. Just thinking positive thoughts about stuff in your life.

Certainly not. When we are selfish the results are usually never positive. Instead positive thinking it the practice of visionary thinking, seeing good in your mind frist, then making the actions necassary to bring about the thought. After all, everything you see was first a thought.... think good things, such as kindness and expressions of friendship and love, what results in giving and reaching out, this is positive thinking, if someone says different they are attaching a false and totally unfounded quality to the term.

Positive thinking is when you feel like that you are going to fail in somethings but you force yourself to think that you're going to be OK no matter what. Selfishness is when you put yourself first before other people usually for your own good.

I have picked this from a book..How can one be an optimist?
" Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.Talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.Make all your friends feel that you appreciate their good qualities and strengths.Look at the sunny side of everything.Think only of the best, work only for the best and expect only the best.Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.Give everyone a smile.Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger."

no, on the contrary, positive thinking is exactly that.....think good positive thoughts and good positive things happen.
selfishness is just all about you, all ways try and think of others and be considerate...you will become a better person for it

having the luxury of thought might be considered selfish, but can't necessarily be helped. whether the thought is positive or negative is probably not so important. one is miserable and the other is not. I think action matters more.

hi, positive thinking means ... 'if you thing something which do not hurt anybody in any way' and also no one should come in trouble through your thinking.
In a very short think good (positive) which do not disturb any one by any means.
IT IS NOT A SELFISHNESS!
