first of all i would like to know if any one aside from me thinks that dc is so out of names that they cant find good ones(and havent for like 10 years)here are two examples...bounce boy and elongated man who thought of those names?!!!?
also many could be offended by this but am i the only person who tink spiderman is a bit whiney?i mean he has saved the city,world,and universe several times and he still thinks his powers are a curse!!!!
and amazingly enough this is not a rant
what are your favorite superhero ,villain,superheroine,villainess for marvel adn then list yours for dc.
this is just a whimso nothing to harsh :( *pout*

I agree that Dc is out of good names (booster gold ?)
but I still think that there pretty funny .. I mean thers this guy called superman who runs around in blue tights and red underwear on the outside of them, ... and hes one of the most popular characters in comics to date.
Spiderman is a bit whiney .. but If you read Ult. Spiderman ..or anything right before the Civil War stuff .. (The other) to the current civil war stuff ... you;ll find that he actually has the most reason to by whiney .. he recently went throught a lot .. and he is one of the only marvel superheros to be doing what he is without major financial or group support (untill recently)

That's a good point about Spidey being whiney. Despite all his "problems", he can still kick a lot of butt w/ his powers; he's supposed to be a bit of a joker, and I think they've strayed too far away from that aspect of his personality.
Marvel: Iron Man, Dr. Doom, She-Hulk, Enchantress.
DC: Batman, Darkseid, Phantom Lady, Harley Quinn.
Regarding DC's character names: These were around for a long time (Bouncing Boy, Elongated Man), and they may seem quaint, but the characters are actually good. Yes and no on the DC name thing.
