On May 11, 2005 George Bush signed the National ID act. This was attached to a millitary funding bill making it impossible to deny. Now we are not the only nation getting this ID some nations already have a national ID card. This card will make you a slave to the world government not just our own. This card will have technology to track your every move and tell everything about you right down to your religion. You will have to have it to drive a car, hold a job, or open a bank account. Now this is not just for religious people like myself. This is an issue that concerns freedom and privacy. For religious people it seems to be the lead in system for the mark of the beast. As taught in the book of Revelation. Revelation chapter 13 verses 16 through 18 states that without the mark of the beast you will not buy or sell. Well how much buying or selling are you going to do with out this national ID? Please America don't let us become slaves lets fight this ID. nonationalid.com

First, put down your bible. It's just a work of fiction.

Second, nearly everyone already has a national ID, it's call a Social Security Number. You'll find it difficult to do most of the things on your list without one. But it's not very secure.

Like many others, I have two more IDs that are generally accepted. My driver's license which is recognized in all 50 states, districts and possessions, and even in some other countries. And I have a Passport which is recognized pretty much all over the world. These, too, are not as secure as they need to be, and the driver's license, in particular, is commonly forged and with every state issuing them, there is no one standard (i.e., recognition of fakes is difficult).

Personally, I would welcome a single ID standard that would encompass these seperate IDs. Hopefully, this will restrict government services and benefits to just citizens.

I wouldn't mind if this would replace our mulitple payment systems as well - no more currency, checks, or pocket full of credit/debit/atm cards.
