i was just at the jacuzzi at my apartments and swarms of centipedes were flocking to the water and biting people! if washed away they would keep coming back more aggressively. any idea why centipedes do this? we got up and left but i am still freaking out that there might be one crawling on me somewhere.. LOL

centipedes seem to have some kinda bathtub fixation. seriously.
cool and wet place is what they like
i suggest scoop them on a dustpan, throw the obstinate creatures far away. my guess is that it has been fairly dry lately and that is the only wet place and hiding place they can find? if outdoors, spray some water around so that they can go elsewhere and stay there.
normally centipedes are agressive only towards their prey, but if they are thirsty, hungry and generally frustrated, they are like mad... seem like you case
