how much does your baby weigh?? if she is under 30lbs check out my source link..I just bought this swing 4 my two month old and I love it.. I could also put my older son in it, he's 19 months 25 pounds.(don't want to though cause he'll climb in it whilst new baby is in it..) check your local walmart for this swing if you want it.(it's cheaper that way)

Hon, it's time to transition her out of the swing...she cant sleep in it forever. even if you could find a bigger swing, you are just delaying the inevitable and it will become more and more difficult for her to adjust as she gets older. You are just making a bigger problem for yourself in the long run. You should transition her out of it. She may not take a nap for a few days, but she will adjust. Mine would ONLY sleep in the swing day and night. We moved her into the crib at 4 months - had 2 rough nights/days and then she was fine. We moved her gradually- first, we would turn the swing off after she had fallen asleep. Then we started leaving the swing off all the time even when we put her in it to sleep. and then when she got used to that, we moved her to the crib. The entire process took about a month. Good luck.

Just let her nap in the swing long enough to go to sleep then gently take her out of that swing and put her in her crib.

Get another swing....make it a point not to move the first baby out to make room for the second one because there will be resentment for the new one. My sister's children were close in age like yours will be and she treated the first one like she was the baby too because she was. The second one was a boy....they're teenagers now and they're very good friends.

"the older they are, the longer they cry". You would be very smart to get her into her own bed, falling asleep on her own, ASAP. "Self-Soothe" is one of the most empowering abilities a child can learn. Lovingly tell her that her crib is where she will fall asleep. She will cry long and hard, but it will stop, she will learn, and everyone will be better for it. Be lovingly firm and consistent. Don't give in and put her in the swing if you've already told her to stay in the crib. Trust me on this!

my 4 month old will not go to sleep in her swing for nothing. I have to lay her down in bed...lay next to her until she falls asleep.
