I like a guy I have known him for about 10yrs, we were great friends then didn't see each other for about 4 yrs and when we caught up again, that's when our relationship changed. We've gone on dates, and worked together; history together. He is very hard to read, I won’t see or hear from him for months at a time. There have been times when we have talked for many hours. Other times, I have called him and he doesn’t sound interest in talking to me, I have wound up in other relationships to find him very disappointed. I have tried to give up on him, then he shows backup in my life. I have told him that I like him, vise versa, but when I have told him that we should go out sometime, he says sure I’ll call you, then he never does or he forgets about the date and calls last minute to say he can’t make it. He is very busy, so am I, so I understand but no forward motion is a drag. It’s a constant flip flop! I can’t figure him out, I have never liked a guy like this; what do you think?

It sounds like you two are having some timing and communication problems, so I recommend you read John Gray's book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus: A Practical Guide for Improving Communication and Getting What You Want in Your Relationships".

That really sux, it happens with my current bf too.
Everytime I am about to breaking him up, he suddently being so sweet and make my heart melted again again again.
it is so annoying when finally im willing to cooperate and do everything for him, but in return he just treats me like a piece of sh1ts. I am so sad, i think im not a bad gf, noone ever things I am wrong.. when I argue with him, he thinks I always want him to be my way -_- how not true!! he really steals my heart and make me suffer.. I dont know what to do too.. he never call me or sms me too.. always say he is busy. Then I come up with solution that guys like this, isnt good for us, if you want him to do serious relationship, they are not ready. Maybe if they dont call or look for us once twice is ok but what if they do it many times heh?

I thought women are the ones who are hard to read. I bet this guy is hiding something from you, he can be scared of commitment or he has a family that he cant let go, even he cant let go of you thats why hes torn and acting so weird, he doesnt know what/who to prioritize? Whatever his reasons are, dont keep your hopes up, be neutral, if hes there then ok if not who cares? You dont deserve to be 2nd place (to anything or to anyone), because if you do, you wouldnt have to ask this question.

Your not giving him enough. One moment he thinks you like him and he'll be interested, then another he will think you don't like him.
Or it could be that he isn't sure what he wants.
Either way, keep in contact with him because if you don't, you could lose him forever. Maybe he will come to his senses maybe not.
Us guys are not hard to read, just if you don't take the time to get to know us then it will be hard to understand why we do things. Talk to him about this and see what he says, sometimes talking about it is the best way to do it.

-maybe hes playing hard to get or hes trying to figure you out. Most guys don't call & we always forget, give him a call some men like that when the girl calls back. Good luck i hope this helps.

He's just not that into you. He likes you but basically it sounds like he wants you as more of a friend. If he was really interested in you, you would know it. Move on with your life, try to meet someone else....you deserve better than that.

well..look....that's the love permanent problem..people always miss understand the signs...maybe he likes u but he is too busy and maybe not...maybe he does like to be with u and maybe not..u said he like talking with u...then he has some feelings weather afriend or alover feelings...don't ever ever depend on that signs...1st ask ur heart if u truly love him...then depending on the answer u go directly and tell him..u know..there is this guy i know..i think he likes me..what do u think...see his reaction..that will tell u...it's ayes or no question..that should set ur heart free of any responsibilites believe me...try it and u shall see urself..remember..men are hard to read...because they need adirect question..most of them can't answer a multi-answers one

yup...i agree...very insensitve, but really girl...he is not that hard to read.. all he sees in you as of now is a friend maybe it will still take a lot of time for him to figure out what a great person u r.

If you want to READ something READ a book. my suggestion is read the book MEN ARE FROM MARS WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS. It will explain alot of what you are asking. Especially the part about men needing time away from women.
