All of you guys are twisted about rap. Rap is not gay, it takes a true artist to figure out creating the dopest lines to say. And I bet you couldn't do half the stuff the "real" rappers can or have done. You don't know a thing about rap, and that goes for other people in here that objects to rap. Rap isn't always about girls, money, ice, the drug and thug life. It's just like Rock, R&B, Jazz, and all of the other genres. Rap tells a story, but in an urban mode, It is apart of a culture, just like Rock, R&B, and Jazz is. Different people come from this specific culture, and their own perspectives, and personal views to discuss. Back in the 90s and 80s, rap specifically talked about issues that went on in the world today, whether it was issues going on in the rapper's personal life, or what they saw on television that was happening with people around the world. Rap is too thorough for you to understand. I can see why you say rap may be sort of wacked out, because of the songs that people are making nowadays, and sometimes I question why did they even bother making their song, its because their songs aren't REAL rap. Most songs are for going hopping at the club, songs that people can dance to, with an easy beat. Rap of today, is pure entertainment, and people lost the true essence of why rap and hip-hop was brought unto the scene. Once guy said, "I think you betta check yaself, before you wreck yaself," And I believe it was from the 90s era, and I suggest you do that, before you go bashing real rap, go listen to some that was made in the 80s and 90s..And saying rap is gay, is like saying rock is stupid, the way certain rock artists used to make a show out of themselves hopping up and down with their guitars, and playing really loud noises -- The guitar was their stage front. But I'm not going to knock anyone's hustle, because I respect rock and other music genres, but each and every "Real" song has a story to tell, and I suggest you snuggle up in bed and listen.

Because it's a bunch of guys acting like high school girls who are obsessed with fashion and jewelry. It's pathetic and hilarious at the same time seeing these so-called hard core rappers wearing fur and earrings more extravagant than your grandmother's or a drag queen's.

How idiotic is that? And then just to sell a record, they put naked girls in the video and rap in a club, in a mansion, on the street over and over and over again. And rap about the stupidest sh!t in the world that has nothing to do with the last sentence he just rhymed.

Rap used to be one of the greatest things to come out to express opression and art. Now, it's just a bunch of losers trying to make a buck so they can waste it on sh!t they don't need.

Rap is chock full of negative, self-hate messages that advocates illegal drug use and sales, violent sex crimes on women, is pro-murder by gun or knife, bemoans being trapped in ghettos and destined only for prison--where they can be somebody instead of a nobody on the streets.
