man o war had the speed but seabiscuit had the heart. of the two i would pick seabiscuit. he would try to win no matter what.

I'm a big fan of the scrappy underdog with the big heart--so I'd root for Seabiscuit.

Sweet!! Bring on more horse racing questions. I only wish i was alive to see either one run. But from what i'd say Man O War would take this one easily.
This question reminds me of a book i read last year... Dream Race. Basically it takes this question up a notch and they fill a Breeders Cup day with horses from various eras.. worth checking out.
