I'm a business/political science major. I'm trying to decide if I want to be situated in Europe for easy travel or experience the laid-back culture and friendly people in Australia.

London will be much better for you. More to see and do and your education will be of better quality. At Australian universities they treat foreigners differently and if you're 21 or over you are discriminated on the basis of your age and you are regarded as a "mature-age student". No other country has this age discrimination. Also, I agree with what other answerers have said about the travel. It's easier to travel around Europe and you have different cultures close by. In Australia there are not many airports and there are not many (if any) differences whether you're in Sydney or Perth. So, choose London. You won't regret it!

You have more access to places if your in London.

In business, you need to be able to get to other powerful countries fast and in London you have Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Vienna and lots of others right there just a few hours away.

I'm sure Sydney is fab, but if your looking to move up in your career/schooling, I'd go with London

Sydney - beacuse London is too expensive and the weather is crap. Sydney is a great place to live! Lots to see and do, great beaches and the weather is usually great (not today though!).
