My wife and I have been married for over 11 years and we make it a point to have a "date" at least once a month. Why? It helps to keep things alive and fun. We both get dressed up and go out to a different restaurant each time. We get to experience different foods, relax and just be able to talk to each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards we sometimes stop at this dessert place for something sinful then go home where the sex is always incredible after these evenings.
Good question

My husband an I have just had 3 kids in 2 1/2 years....Not feeling so sexy myself, but we try to feel adventerous by sneeking off every 5 minutes we get a lone. Being married is a challenge, just make the game as exciting as the dating was.

When my marriage started going bad we decided that we needed more time together with out our 5 children so we started date night once a week and it helped a lot! 1-2 nights a week what ever make you happy and content.

As often as they like. You need to keep the fun in the relationship, especially if you are married to them.

if possible once a week, if not possible definately once every 2 weeks.. i think its very important not to lose the passion, the romance, and the connection that started the relationship in the first place, for the woman especially it rekindles the feeling of feeling more like a "woman" then a wife / mom ..

My husband go out almost every saturday nite. Sometimes we stay in and just chill. We send our daughter to my mom's so she gets a break from us and we get a chance to reconnect and remember why we got married in the first place. LOL

how often....lol i wish it were often...my wife and i hardly go out on a date.....there is no real answer to this cause it has to deal with how couples daily life runs, he they have kids, etc.....as for my wife and i we try to go out once a month..but does that happen no lol...but its hard with nine kids and myself being in the military....

now to why married couples should go out....we need our time alone as well...sometimes if you just make a routine of life..going to work coming home going to sleep etc....it tends to duel the relationship...we need that sense of togetherness as a couple..we call it adult time ....only time we have away form out kids :-)

Once a week or once every two. Because it stops the everyday cycle...kids/work/bills/etc)... that makes people bored and looking for change(Which is usually in the wrong places!)

i think they need to go on dates maybe once or twice a month, even if it's just going for coffee somewhere, you gotta show your other half just cause we are married doesn't mean u need to miss out on dates
