I live in southern California and i'm hoping to see the Perseids meteor shower tonight, and i know its going to be faint and the moon is going to be a nuissance, but i was wondering what constellation i should look to and if i'll be able to see it from where i live, please let me know thanks!

You need to locate the constellation Perseus. Right now (11:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time) it's very low on the northeastern horizon. At about 4:00 am Perseus will be considerably higher in the sky and that's the best time to watch the Perseids shower.

I don't know but it seems to me that it' either Leo or Sagittarius but I really don't know for sure.
