Was it Bringing Up Baby? He was in that with Katherine(sp?) Hepburn. Affair to Remember was a crusie ship movie. I think we are all incorrect.

It's Cary Grant and that was a great movie and grandmas house did have a wine cellar... With home made wine...

But the movie was in color...so this might not be the movie you're thinking... They did stop to visit the Grandmother though.
