ok... for everyone whos answering stuff not on my list, these drummers play a completely different style. its punk/metal. dont get me wrong, i completely respect john bonham, neal peart, and mike portnoy, but im not asking who's the best drummer. just whos the best out of those 8

Why isn't John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) on there...I've never even heard of those other bands...John Bonham has been voted as the greatest drummer of all time...(He had a really fast right foot)

Ok, yeah Tommy Lee was a brilliant drummer back in the day before the drugs took their toll on him.

i absolutely love Strung Out (Going To Hell) and Lagwagoon (May 16) but my fave drummers would have to be:

Adam Carson (AFI)

Shawn 'CLOWN' Crahan (Slipknot- Gotta love his double kicks)

There are way too many to name, they are just some of the few who inspired me enough to wanna play drums (and it takes a lot for me to get inspired, lol)
There are not many female drummers out there but i love love love Meg White (The White Stripes) and Torry Castellano (The Donnas) they show firls that we can do it just as good as the boys...
