of course Malaysia is a safe country but first you should be responsible for your own safety wherever you go. Malaysia has so much to offer beside safety, modern building, latest hightech facility, fantastic bargain shopping, white sandy beaches, nice n friendly peoples, colourful culture, untouched rain forest, delicious foods, cool mountain retreat, etc, welcome to Malaysia, my country. really hope that i have the opportunity to show you around.

No it's not...
U might knock onto a lamp post while walking...
or burn your tongue drinking a hot teh tarik (the national beverage)
or get sunburnt while sunbathing at a beautiful pristine beach
or get bitten by leeches while discovering the wonderful oldest tropical rainforest
or cramped your legs while shopping at the large shopping malls
or (hmm...this is the best part)...'strained' your eyes looking at the petit and beautiful ladies everywhere....
Sorry....in summary....Malaysia is not a very safe place to visit...
U should try other country...

Overally Malaysia is safe to visit. But no matter where you are, we must alway stay alert for our belongings and safety of our life.

if thinking of safety.. in KL if can dont bring too much cash or jewelries along with u when in Central Market known as Petaling Street or Chinatown.. its the most dangerous area in KL but as long as u can be careful its just ok.. alot of foreigners tourists there...
