Well the words "in India" are significant here.
if we talk of river's journey in Indian political territory, then it is the Ganga. The other two long rivers namely Indus and Brahmaputra also flow through India, but their journey within Indian boundaries are not that long.
If we talk of total length of rivers, irrespective of their flow in different political territories, then the total lengths are Brahmaputra (2900 kms.), Indus (2880 kms) and Ganga (2525 kms). Among these, Ganga has the maximum length covered in India.

It is Brahmaputra. It travels through China by a different name before entering India and assumes the name of Brahmaputra. It finally flows into Bangladesh.
