I don't really have a best girl friend, and I'm really jealous of girls who are best friends. I used to have one when I was younger but we lost touch when I moved out of state. I've tried locating her without success. The problem is, I'm 22, I don't go to college, I work from home, and everyone else my age already has a best friend by now. My husband is my best friend, but how can I get a best girl friend? I have friends that are girls, but they all already have a best friend. What do you suggest? Or, anyone out there feel like I do?

I have like 4 best friends, I think it shouldn't be considered best friends because that is something that is so hard to choose. I consider it sisters, or really good friends. One is from grade school, one is my old boss (who has 3 or 4 other best friends), and the other two are from high school. It's never too late. I would suggest taking a night class or two. I'm sure there is something you wouldn't mind picking up. Like a dancing class, yoga, anything, creative writing, art, what ever floats your boat, maybe something to help you with work. Just being on campus you could meet someone.
Go out, go to bars, what ever. People are everywhere and I'm sure someone is out there that may already have a best friend, but you could get along really well with both and have two really good friends.

l can be your best girl friend but we're like millions of miles away. l'm from the Philippines. l don't chat much coz we don't have a computer at home l only got to chat while at work. and I don't really love to chat. But if you want to l'll be glad..
But you should still be happy because your husband is your best friend. l don't have a best friend too and l hope my best friend ever would be my future husband......(sigh)
Cheer up you'll find a true friend someday or you already found that friend you've been looking for......;P

i feel the same way and im 24. i am ni the same situation as u. i work from home and am not in school. i haven't had a best friend since grade school and i definitely feel like it's too late. i think thats why im so clingy with my bf since i see him as my best friend which is good but it would be nice to have a girl friend to talk to. i dont know what to say except if u figure out what to do let me know!

Hello. Yeah you know only one. I hav'ent got a best friend too. it so hard for me look for one, anyhow i try go to group and more group noone like talk to me much.

i'm in the same boat, i don't have a best friend, i had one when i was younger but we grew up and went our different ways.... it's not wrong not to have a best friend, if you husband is your best friend, but it's not the end of the world
