JENS LEHMANN from Germany of course!! He did a very fantastic job during the World Cup. He was like the Superman of the goalies!
And he has a big heart.. by letting Oliver Kahn to guard the goal during the last match Germany vs Portugal... because it was the last match ever for Oli in World Cup.. Oli would be too old to play in the World Cup 2010. Schade!
But anyways, 2 thumbs up and a big applause for Lehmann!

Buffon with Lehman a very close second.
Both played the game with style and class. Being handsome was the icing on the cake.
Portugal's goalie was also very good I just could not stand watching poor acting by the Princess Ronaldo so I turned off the TV

I loved Lehmann. He proved to everyone that doubted him to be world-class goalie. He finally got the chance to shine after being Oliver Kahn's shadow for years. And I support the German national team. Lehmann is the best goalie during WC 2006!!!
ps. I love Lehmann, but I admire Oliver Kahn even more. Olli will always be my #1 goalie... And...Timo Hildebrand is replacing Olli Kahn, so, he'll be my #2 goalie in the world. DEUTSCHALAND EURO 2008 and WC 2010!!!

I have to go with the Portugal goal keeper because he made some fantastic saves during the games and reacted efficiently during the penalty shootout with England. Gianluigi Buffon was awesome but the Italy defense also contributed so much. I think Fabian Barthez is getting old.

Ricardo from Portugal was my favorite goalie. He was excellent at knowing where the opposition was going to place the ball in the net. I also thought that he had a great attitude and always played his best (ok...with the exception of the Germany game).

Probably BUFFON! Haha, my friends and I painted our faces & made shirts for the Championship Game. One of my friends made a Buffon shirt. (I had England with John Terry on it & my other friend had Brazil with Ronaldinho on it.) It was soo much fun & I'm glad Italy won, but if Zidane didn't get red carded then.. it could of been different.
Also, Portugal's GK Ricardo is good. He guessed right EVERY time when England's players shot at the PK's.
So.. yeahh.

JENS LEHMANN!!!!!
He is absolutely amazing. I have never seen another goalkeeper catch as many corner kicks, freekicks, and penalties as he does. He should have been Germany's #1 goalkeeper a long time ago, but just couldn't make it because of troubles at the beginning of his career with Schalke and Germany's long-standing Bavaria Connection, which favored Bayern Munich's Oliver Kahn. Jens Lehmann deserves his glory, he really does...he is the best goalkeeper in the world, no doubt!!!

I have three in the following order:
1- Ricardo (Portugal)
2- Shaka (T and T)
3- Joao Ricardo (Angola)
I'm not a fan of Buffon b/c, if you look closely, he managed to guess the wrong side on every single penalty shot taken against him.
