Yes it is. Your baby is fully protected by the amniotic sac (a thin-walled bag that holds the fetus and surrounding fluid) and the strong muscles of the uterus. There's also a thick mucus plug that seals the cervix and helps guard against infection. The penis does not come into contact with the fetus during sex.

Unless:

If you engage in oral sex, your partner should not blow air into your vagina. Blowing air can cause an air embolism (a blockage of a blood vessel by an air bubble), which can be potentially fatal for mother and child.

You should not have sex with a partner whose sexual history is unknown to you or who may have a sexually transmitted disease, such as herpes, genital warts, chlamydia, or HIV. If you become infected, the disease may be transmitted to your baby, with potentially dangerous consequences.

Well, Take it from a mom of 7 children. You must ask your doctor if it is safe enough for sex. I had sex with my second child up until the birth month as a matter of fact I had sex 12 hours before her birth. This question can only be answered by the doctor and you. Don't get me wrong I had sex with my husband during all my pregnancies. Just not as much as when I was younger. My youngest child will be 1 on the 17th of this August. My oldest is 26 last June. I really think this is something you and your Doctor should talk about

is it safe to have sex during pregnancy? Generally, yes. But the BEST answer for you is the one you get from your doctor, because there are factors that could change that situation for YOU. are you healthy? are you confined to bed rest? how far along do you mean? ... Some women can have sex practically up to delivery, and some should stop nearly as soon as they discover they are pregnant. There are just too many things that need to be known to make any answer relevant to YOU... Asking your doctor is the best way to get a good answer. and if you aren't comfortable asking your doctor, make a list of all the questions, and take your partner, a friend, or a family member along with specific instructions to ASK these questions For you during your appointment... or find a doctor you CAN talk to....

Sex is safe for baby and mother at all times during a normal pregnancy. Sex during the last month should be 'gentle'. If your cervix is manipulated too roughly, it can trigger labor. Actually that's how I finally got labor started when my son was a week late.

I am a father of three
My wife and I had sex up until the last week or so before delivery
Having said that, just please watch, especially later in pregnancy not to have the penis inserted too deep in your vagina, in other words, the closer it is for delivery time, the less the depth of penetration.
But with all other fun things to do at sex, no problem.
Good Luck,
Macho

It is most certainly safe (and pretty darn GOOD, may I say), as people have said, provided you are not in a high risk condition or have been advised to avoid strenuous activity, avised against by your doctor etc. etc.

I was almost 2 weeks overdue and my doctor actually RECOMMENDED getting up to a bit of hanky-panky with my partner (If it was comfortable) to see if it... 'loosened'... anything up, shall we say? Heck, I'm no doctor, but I ended up delivering the next day. Was it because of our activity the night before? Who can say...? All I know is it was much more enjoyable than the thought of having to be induced!!

Unless your doctor advises otherwise, it's safe to have sex all the way up until the Mother goes into labor.

Sex is safe for all 9 months unless your doctor tells you not to. Don't have sex if you notice that you are bleeding afterwords or after your water breaks. Other than that...have fun.

in the journey that your question is "How am i able to ascertain she has stopped". . . stopped what, breeding? you would be able to ascertain of this with the aid of never drowsing along with her back. you have seen that she has an alcohol and drug situation, you knew it from the 1st new child. yet you continued to place your penis in her and permit her to get pregnant what proportion extra cases? You saved popping them off along with her, wasn't a situation then, became into it? seems such as you're perfect for the different, and doubtless the youngsters would be extra effective off living with different kinfolk or in foster care complete time.

You can have sex up until the point where it's not comfortable for you to do it. Which might not even be a problem for you...just depends what you feel comfortable with.
