I'm going to be a Junior in high school and eveybody that I know that seen A Clockwork Orange just found that movie disturbing not funny. Is there any reason why I'm the only one who finds it funny? Could it be that my classmates doesn't have a sense of humor? Or could it be that I'm just weird? William Thurbough, what ever is his last name, said reviewing the book, "Also the fact this book is funny will go unnoticed." So he found it funny, why not the rest of my school?

It probably has something to do with all the raping and killing and casual sex going on. Dark comedy is an acquired taste. You apparently have a wry sense of humor. I thought the ending was hysterical myself. After all this torture he goes through he winds up being rewarded for being the debaucher he is. Could it have been your misfortune to be watching this with girls in the group? That might explain the reactions.
