Is there one time in the history of his presidency that he didn't take off during a crisis to go on vacation. For Heaven's sake isaac - Am I the only one that recognizes there is nothing that man could say that you wouldn't buy hook line and sinker. Am I the only one that recognizes if he said the world was coming to an end tomorrow so let's all drink a cyanide cocktail that you'd be the first in line and gulp down the bowl. Am I the only one that can see that you are totally incapable of seeing that there is more than one side to every story or issue and that in most cases the truth usually lies somewhere in between!

This is the perfect time for him to go on vacation. There is a tropical storm in the Caribbean, it might become a hurricane and hit the USA. He will have a good excuse for not reacting to a disaster.
It seems the storm is not a big threat, but he is taking every precaution.
He is being proactive rather than reactive. This is real leadership!!!

I'm sure he's briefed every morning of what's going on in the country and around the world. Why does he need to go on vacation is the question I'd like answered.

Am I the only one that remembers that Bush said we are going over there to weaken terrorism in the Middle East so as to immobilize it where it originates to weaken the chance of them being able to strike the U.S like they did on 9/11?

Every time Al-Qaeda claims an attack in Iraq they validate what Bush said "We have to crush the terrorists where they originate, so as to make American citizens safer."
