Wait until one whole month after you stop taking your pill's before trying so you are sure to have all of the med. out of your body.
I just went to the Dr. Fri. and this same question was discussed.
The best pre-conception web site is www.babycenter.com they have a ovulation calculator and much more I have used this web site to conceive all 4 of my children. Good Luck!

It's best to be off birth control pills for at least a month or so before really working on getting pregnant.

Don't get your hopes up right away. Depending on how long you were on them may be a factor. Sometimes women just getting off the pill after years of use tend to have problems conceiving right away. Take your time, and try not to think about working so hard at it. Just let it happen. Stress can cause delay also. Some women stress out over getting pregnant and it takes them giving up on trying before they actually conceive. Good luck Momma!

When my ex-wife went off birth control pills it took about a year for her to get pregnant. When my sons wife went off birth control pills it took her about a year to get pregnant. Any woman I've ever talked to about how long it took to get pregnant after the pill told me it took about a year. Just enjoy yourselves and don't worry about it. You'll find yourself pregnant when it's time for you to get pregnant.

it may take a month or more for the effects of the pill to completely wear off, but theres certainly no harm in trying. Youll get it eventually.
