I was watching NFL network the past few days and I hear he's doing very well. He was practicing a little with a brace on his knee...he looked great for a guy with a brace on his knee...

Even if he's not 100% by week 1...and at least 80%...he'll be perfectly fine. He doesn't have a big need to scramble...with that receiving group...people should get open in time so he doesn't have to take too many hits. He'll be 100% in no time.

I hope so...He's on my fantasy team...but then again..they play Carolina this season...so I wouldn't mind if he was still hurt ....but the guy deserves to be healthy...I'm just bitter to opponents ;)

From what im hearing from a few good contacts is that palmers knee is doing fine. although with kitna now gone they still are undecide if carson will start the beginning of this season. I have been a bengals fan for years. my opinion is that he shouldnt rush it. yeah id love to see him playing again but if hes not 100% i dont want to see him get injured more. hes one of the best quarterbacks i have seen play. GO BENGALS

Yeah they say he is doing good but not sure I'd want him playing in week 1. Sure the home opener he would be ok, even if he was only 80% or so BUT that is because the home opener is week 2 against Cleveland. Yeah big game and important but he should be ok to play then as long as everything holds up. To those saying have him start in week 1 under 100% I say LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE. They are opening AT KC. Arrowhead isn't a friendly place, being less then 100% and there you are almost asking for trouble.

he's been doing well, according to rod woodson, he might be able to play by week 3 of the preseason. he's not limping or anything of that sort. so we'll see how he does during a game.
