Be careful when installing yahoo messenger.
First download it from http://download.yahoo.com
Then when installing alway choose advanced installation, read carefully and uncheck the boxes which says make yahoo my hompge etc..

Hmm. Are you talking about default email? Or default Home Page?
In yahoo email you have to go to "My account" and set it as default there, for homepage right click on the two little pc's on taskbar when it opens click on "application settings" and type in
http://my.yahoo.com/

ok if u want yahoo for a home pg do this go to cntrol panel then connection in web adderess type www.yahoo.com and save it use exployer it will go to yahoo.com yahoo messager is a chat prog and to read email..
