Richard O'Sullivan suffered a stroke late in 2003. He is now living in Brinsworth House, a retirement home for actors and performers in England, run by the Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund.

Real pity how life turned out for Mr O'Sullivan, I have enjoyed all the programmes he has been in - always played a down to earth character who people just liked. I know he has had a stroke, but would love to see him in a play or comedy again, or even just a reunion with his actor associates. Would make my day.

He is in a Nursing Home, recovering from a serious illness. The Nursing Home is run by some Actors Support Group. There was an article a few weeks back in one of the National Daily Newspapers. A few other well known faces/names from the past are in the same Nursing Home.
