The answer depends on your point of view. If you are big on religion, you probably believe that it is wrong and a terrible thing. If you are not overly religious, you probably are ok with it as long as it doesn't affect you. I stuggle with this because while I consider myself religious, I also believe in scientific research. Research is showing that while any straight person could decide to sleep with someone of the same sex (see sorority girls who want to experiment in college), being gay is based on genetics, not environment. I don't believe that God would create gays only to banish them to hell. At worst, I would say that at a biological level, homosexuality is a genetic defect in that it messes up a persons chance to reproduce. But I don't think it is wrong. Most people who believe it is wrong don't even know any gay people, but they hate Jack on Will & Grace so that is enough for them to believe it is wrong.
