A '93 GMC 1500 4x4 w/ a 5 speed manual transmission, or a '93 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 w/ an automatic? i already have the nissan, and i like how it seems nimble for it's size. it also has good four wheel drive. does anyone have experience with the GMC trucks of '93? Are they fun to drive? i'm worried that i'll get tired of piloting a large vehicle...how do they handle? i know they are good trucks in terms of reliability...

I'm not crazy about the manual transmission of a GMC, I've never driven one but I had a Chevy in 82 with manual trans that totally sucked. Nissan is fun but a bit underpower. I'd would make sure you have a good size engine under that GMC hood, the 6 bangers are a bit weak but it might be OK with the manual. Can't you take this thing out for a ride?

Anything is more fun to drive than a GMC 1500, especially one that is 13 years old.
