Sure have! You usually don't have to go very far 50 miles or so then we are back when the danger is passed. You just board it up and if you live in Flordia you save the boards year after year!! They also have hurricane shutters [I do] !

I live in Newport News Va, near Virginia Beach. It would depend, I work at a hotel so if every guest was gone and the manager shut the hotel down and said go I probably would leave and go to my parents house near the mountains. But the hotel was still being run I would stay.

no, never .... i should have the right to stay on my property if i so choose to, I have been though a couple in Florida and I wouldn't leave my property
