Steve Carrell because his characters are more ingenious than Will Ferrell's. Ferrell's are pretty much one-note. Did anyone see Ferrell onstage at this year's MTV Movie Awards? I could hear crickets dying.
But Carrell.. his speech was just pitch perfect in its comedic timing. Also, take a look at his performance in "Little Miss Sunshine". There is no way Ferrell could ever muster up something that good.
