I often wonder the same thing because I know SO many men who love their wives but only get sex, like once a year on their birthdays. And these men tell me that it used to be great before the wedding. As if a man would get married if he thought he'd get LESS sex. I think it's a really mean trick. I think the women are "using sex as a weapon". They don't seem to realise the damage they are doing to their marriages.

When you first start a relationship sex is new and fun. It's an adventure and you can't wait to have more, more, more! It's like that for newlyweds too. But as time marches on the couple finds other things that they enjoy doing with their partner just as much. Plus they know that they don't have to prove their love and attraction through sex. (which is just an illusion anyhow) Some people feel that their partner has to have sex with them to show love and if they don't that means they don't love them. That's a childish point of view. As you grow you learn that love from that special someone is all around you and sometimes a simple hug or kiss says more than any mindless sex act ever could. Now making love...that's another story. But that type of special moment isn't something that happens everytime you have sex. Take care and I hope you have an amazing evening!

Also....

I wanted to mention that after marriage sex sometimes takes the back burner because of all the new stresses in life. House payments, children, pets...the list goes on and on. If that is the case the best thing to do is talk openly about it with your husband or wife. I know this sounds silly but it often helps to pencil in some special time with one another. Having a date night one or two times a month works wonders!

Usually it gets that way after a women has a child. The cause is something called Mother Goose Syndrome. The wife gives all her energy and love and hugs and kisses all day long to the new baby or other children if she's a stay at home mom and then by the time her hubby comes home, she's all out. The supply was used up on the children and she's running on empty come 5 o'clock.

Many do not quit having sex after marriage. Those that do quit often do so because their husbands become less loving about sex. Guys, take a shower, clean your teeth, give your wife a massage, Stroke her tummy for a while, try to do some good kissing , gently run your fingers over and over her breasts, moisten and stroke your wife's clitoris.....bet she might start having sex again!

Its not so much after marriage but after kids. Most women need stimulated to have sex. I have a kid and I never seem to be in the mood. I asked the dr and she said it was normal. She said I need foreplay to get in the mood. Now if she doesn't have kids and never gets in the mood then something else is wrong. Talk to her.

Most don't. I guess some do for the same reason some men stop paying attention to a woman after they get married.
Honestly, it's not that great a relationship if things change that drastically just because of a wedding.

After marriage they found out the real deal about their husbands and quite frankly it is a turn-off.

because dating is fantasy. during the dating faze, you're not thinking about bills, yard work, dirty house, laundry, supper, or stuff like that. kids are usually not in the picture yet.
when you are not married to a woman, you talk real sweet to her because you know at any given time it's would be easy for her to hit the road. but once you've "got papers on her" it's like you stop respecting her and treating her gently. women are aroused by what they hear and feel. if you adore her as you did in the beginning and stop talking to her like she's stupid or less than you, surprise her once in awhile by doing something totally sweet and mushy for her, and stop admiring other women in her face, then she's probably give it to you all the time like she did in the beginning. be kind and gentle to her and she will be more sexual.

Gee, I didn't realize I did quit. I better tell my husband that he had a wet dream last night. Also, I guess the 2 kids were a type of immaculate conception.
