Whenever anyone asks a question regarding a collective group of people, most often a race, people get their panties all up in a bunch and start spouting off crap like "that's generalizing! waaaa!"

Maybe it depends on the race. I asked a question that had to do with the Chinese culture (honestly seeking information) and I got a bunch of ridiculous answers that were insulting, from what I imagined were non-Chinese people.

I guess there are people out there who are outwardly progressive but secretly are horrible bigots who are so insecure about themselves that they imagine any kind of question, even benign ones about their race to be discriminatory. So touchy, and yes panties up in a bunch (now there's a mental pic I did not need!)

Then there are the bad questions, not worthy of your time. Ignore them long enough and they'll get tired of asking them.

I think it's because most of the world's people are getting too politically correct. I mean look at all those groups out there. Some people are getting too up tight. I mean it's someone's opinion, if they don't like what they asked... heck it's their problem. Come on, it's the internet.
