good question!
Points definitely give answering and voting a game feel....helps you to keep going on browsing through the questions;
But,i answer only those classes of questions,about which am experienced enough to advise and help out someone!

I love helping people, it's in my blood, I love doing good things for people in need, I like this question answer forum, it sure helps pass the time, and I've learned alot, doing this, the points don't mean that much, I enjoy the mingling with all of you. Have a great day.

I try to answer every question as truthfully as possible. If I see a question that I don't believe that I can help with then I bypass it. So yeah, I really do like to help people on here.

I answer the questions I think I can help. I dont even count how many points I have. Its not like you win a prize for the points.

I don't care about the points. I answer to help and sometimes just for fun. But yeah, I don't even check my points. I mean who cares.

i answer things i know about. if its serious, then i try to learn about it so i can help. but only if someone else hasnt already said it--i find a lot of morons like to say stupid things to serious questions.
