The CPU is the "brain" inside so you don't want to plug it in there, you do want to plug it into the firewire port on the PC. The connector is usually labled with a Y looking symbol with a circle in the center and there are several types so make sure you have the right cable for your PC. The female connector is rectangular with a sort of point on one end.

You don't. You plug it into the firewire port. The cpu is the processor on your motherboard.

Look at the end of the cable and find the coresponding port shaped the same way.

The firewire port looks like this, it's got a little symbol that has a "o' in the middle of it and some lines around it. looks like a little "sun" but the lines are sideways instead of coming out of it. here's a link:

It's got it's own port. And it's usually always near the USB ports. To many it's known as "that one slot we dont use".

If not then you probably have a laptop, in which it'd be on the back or the opposite side of the USB Ports.

Its at the rear on the left hand side next to the thingy with the hole, and be carefull it doesnt catch fire
