your walking down the street and a guy in a car or truck passes and feels the need to beep, or holler out the window? It makes me feel mad that I'm being seen and noticed only for my body, and that I'm seen as a piece of meat to them. Is it just me?

Yes and no. Yes that I feel like a piece of meat for the first 30 seconds, then I think well at least I can still turn some heads.

Dude!!! It does bother me!
I hate walking down the street, because some guys will look at me and say, "Hey cutie!" One time, this guy tried to pick up my sister. She was just walking down the street.
And one time, this guy shouted, "Lose some weight, fatass!" And I got so pissed off because 1) In complete honesty, I am NOT fat (.. or big-boned lol) 2) Knowing the guy was probably some ugly piece of trash and since he was in a car I couldn't run after him and beat the **** out of him
Some people are just pigs. I guess we just got to ignore it.

I feel the same way in one perspective. I do feel like a piece of meat, but on the other hand, you are noticed and it feeds your ego. Just know that they are only looking at your exterior and you know that that is only 1% of your awesome amazing qualities. Know that you have more to offer than what they are giving you credit for and know that your friends love you for the rest of your 99%.

It doesn't make any difference. Life is life, It's the way it is. Ignore it if it bothers you. Maybe you should feel lucky that you're getting beeped at, instead of being "a fattie" like someone said in your answers.. Too bad people are so critical of others when they are the one that has no value when speaking like that of the difference of others..........

Its so bad nowadays . They do it and it should be wrong . It's sexual harrassment . You can always take down the license plate number , then call and report it . If you tell them that he followed you , they will do something about it and he wont do that again.

To the *sshole above me . Shut up ! You dont know how she dresses . I seen them do it to most girls and it doesn't matter what they are wearing . Just SHUT UP !! ( GOD I cant stand stupid *ssholes )

I think it's rude and disgusting. I wake up and look in the mirror everyday and I know I'm pretty, so I don't need some jerk wad to remind me.

Sweetie, it's not just you that feels repulsed by the three-legged dogs of this world.

Tell me about it. My gf tells me about it with such hatred, I've been thinking no way she's going to lay her hand on any kind of weapon - not even a teaspoon. The city would be overflown with dead bodies who either whistled at her or honked. Well, what'd you expect - she's getting ready to be a doctor. You bet she's got more to look at than just her body.

Well, yeah, I guess you could look at it that way. But you just have to understand that that's the way men are, and that's the way they always will be. Might as well just let it go and move on. What good is it going to do you, worrying about it all the time?
