ch 3 turn skip next sc dc in next 8 sc (dc ch 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp ch 1 skip next sc dc in next sc ch .
Here is another one. ch 1 turn sc in first dc (sc in next ch-1 sp and in next dc) 4 times. The problem is I don't understand the ch-2 sp. or the ch-1 sp I don't know what to do or what it means

Yeah I thought it was crazy looking when I first saw it too. It is very hard to "show" somebody to crochet when you are not in the same room with them.

they are the people who make red heat yarn is very helpful. I couldn't make a front or back post double crochet until I saw this one. You can find it at Yarn and craft stores.
The cleanest diagrams clearest explanations in a crochet book I ever saw are in The Happy Hooker, the Stitch 'n' b***h crochet.

means to do the dc ect in next ch2space and then ch1 it means to either ch-2space or ch-1space get you a beginner crochet book and that will help you
