Exfoliate and moisturize.
The fruit are naturally acidic (each one has a different type all tend to be exfoliating) and that will cause a very gentle exfoliation. It may take a really long time and a lot of produce to get the initial result you are after.
The sour cream, has lactic acid from the milk, which is also exfoliating.
These would all be gentle ways of exfoliating your facial skin. All would probably work very well for you. Save your fruit waste after cutting fruits and use them for your skin.

Those solutions won't help.
Here are some ways to hydrate your skin:
Drink at least 4 ounces of water during each waking hour.
Use a body scrub or salt scrub (olive oil with a lot of table salt mixed in) and a loofah; go over your whole body, especially any rough parts.
Do not use harsh soaps, use oil of olay for example.
Only pat yourself dry; no rubbing so that you retain some of the moisture from the bath.
When moisturizing after your bath or shower, put on heavy cream (such as nivea), baby oil or petroleum jelly on your whole body; it should melt right in if you use a light touch.
Within two days you will notice the difference. Within two weeks, you will be incredibly soft and silky all over. If you stop drinking the water, you will turn into a scaly old crone.

Yeah you should steam your face first to open the pores so the moisturizer will be absorb by your skin.
* Rose Oil & Honey Mask

Gather:
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
5 drops essential oil of rose
Mix honey, sweet almond oil and essential oil of rose.
Massage onto clean face and neck with fingertips. Relax for 15 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. Gently pat dry to reveal a fresh, soft complexion.
* Foaming Vanilla Honey Bath

gather:
1 cup sweet almond oil (light olive oil may be substituted)

1/2 cup liquid soap (plain or flower scented)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Measure the oil into a medium bowl, then carefully stir in remaining ingredients until mixture is fully blended. Pour into a clean plastic bottle with a tight-fitting stopper or lid. Shake gently before using. Enough for four large luxurious baths.
Swirl desired amount into the bathtub under running water -then step in and descend into a warm, silky escape.
* How to Have Silky Touchable Skin
Men love silky soft skin. Who wouldn't? Getting skin

hours exploring every inch of your body is easier than you think.
What you will need:
a) a bathtub or shower
b) a good sugar body scrub ( scented or unscented)
c) a luxurious body cream
What to do to get touchable skin:
1)Before going on your next date, run a hot bath.
2) Close the door to get the room extra steamy.
3) When the tub is full let it cool to the point where you can
comfortably sink into it.
4) Sit in the tub for about ten minutes. Your pores will begin to
open do to the steam.
5) Stand up carefully and work your sugar body scrub into your
skin, paying special attention to your knees and elbows.
6) Wash off your body. Make sure to remove all the scrub.
Be Careful. The tub could get slippery from the oil that the sugar
has been soaked in.
7) Get out of the tub and pat yourself dry with a towel.
Apply a rich lotion all over your body.

Tips on how to get Smooth Skin?
Blend the egg white and honey well and then apply on the face. This makes your skin smooth and helps to reduce wrinkles.
Blend turmeric powder with milk and apply on the face. It removes the tan and helps to reduce the facial hair. Scrub it off with a good face scrub and then wash with cold water. You can also keep it overnight.
Mix oatmeal along with curds and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps to remove the tan and lightens the skin.
Apply raw sliced potato on the face. Reduces blemishes and other scars.
Cucumber juice is an excellent astringent. Applying cucumber juice on the face tightens the pores. Wash it off after 15 minutes.
Applying turmeric powder along with limejuice removes the tan. Limejuice is a natural bleach.
Citrus face packs and sandalwood face packs are excellent for oily skin.
After a shower apply vaseline over your entire body. Shower again after one hour. Repeat twice a month.
Boil cabbage in water. Wash your face with this water.
Rubbing ice cubes on the face tightens the pores and increases blood circulation.
Use glycolic acid (mild peel) and trichloracetic acid (medium peel) solutions. These peels are safe, not overly aggressive, and do not necessitate time off from work or social activities. Peels smooth, freshen, and soften the skin.

Cucumber is a surprising beauty secret for the skin, with its hydrating, nourishing and astringent properties. Cucumbers have the same pH as the skin so they help to restore the skin’s protective and natural acid mantle. You could cut them and put cucumber coins straight onto your skin to sooth and soften, or combine them as here with other kitchen-cupboard ingredients to provide lovely toning. The end result is soothed, smoothed, cooled, happier skin!
INGREDIENTS
5 fresh mint leaves
1/4 medium cucumber
1 large egg white
Bottled or spring water
1. Place the mint in a food processor or blender and give it one short burst to chop. Peel and seed the cucumber. Add it to the mint in the processor or blender and puree. Beat the egg white separately until it stands in stiff peaks. Fold it very gently in to the pureed cucumber mixture.
2. Apply evenly to the face and neck and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with bottled or spring water and pat dry.

For body, dont use Dove,or that Cheap brand or Shampoo. Use lorel if you do use shampoo. mix lorel with your bar of soap and when taking a bath sit in the tub and use a purple pumic stone. it works wonderfully and you can get deak skin off. dry skin is dead skin Why restore sumthin dead? take the dead skin off and then use the moisturizer=olive oil and olay quench. if you shave and your skin is dry use sheen oil to loosen up the hair and then use a shaving gel or cream. then use moisturizer, Works everytyme for me. Listen, buy some Carress body lotion and use that as a shaving cream. Then after you take a shower, put some lotion on your body. I'd recommend Body Fantasies in Vanilla (or any kind of scent you want) and do a schedule.
When you wake up (after shower) put some on.
When you sleep put some one.
Drink lots of water.

Water, vitamins, good (healthy) eating habits and those home remedies work just fine if you don't want to spend all your money on those commercialized skin products...but if you do end up using one of those then try Dove or Olay. They are wonderful.
