Ok Yahoo! Skiers. Just curious where you ski. I live in Washington and ski at Alpental. You?
Oh, and just to make this an actual question for the list, trivia time. Who knows which resort holds the world record for snowfall?

Hey dude, if I lived in Washington I would so drive the six hours to Whistler! (At least, that's how far it is from Seattle, where I've been)
I live in an area where the pickings for good resorts are slim to none. Man, I ski just to ski. Growing up around here makes you appreciate good ski trips but also love small town resorts. I know people who have moved down South from places like Colorado, and refuse to ski our mountains because they are so spoiled by Western powder and vertical. I take whatever I can get. And as far as racing goes, there are some pretty good slalom courses set up around here. Steep and relativly short, but very nice and lots of fun!

I've gotten so spoiled taking trips with the local ski club. Been to Sun Valley, Big Sky, Snowmass out west, and Jay Peak in Vermont. When I was married, we used to drive to Vermont for a week every winter. It's about 12 hours from where I live in Virginia. Skied Killington, Stowe, Mt. Snow, among others. So when I do a day drip to the West Va. resorts, it's like "you call this a mountain".

I ski race, and live in the worst state for skiing, Minnesota. I ski at welch village, and afton alps. Although twice a year, we go on a ski vacation out west. My favorite places are Park City, Utah, or Solitude, Utah. Also, the most snowfall is Alta, Utah

I live in upstate NY I ski at West Mountain and Gore Mountain. West Mountain isnt really a mountain it's really some big hills but it's across the street from my house so I go there alot, and my dad works at Gore Mountain so we get free passes to go there.
