No couples in Heaven or hell.

I would go to hell with her! Why , because first off if a god chose hell for her and gave me some kind of free choice, that's not fair to her, I have done much worse things in my life than she has so why would god do such a thing? Well his reason doesn't matter, but I would loose all faith in him anyway so I would go to hell with my spouse. Secondly, and I have thought about this many times; as I get others ideas of what heaven is like , it seems to me that all the people there are like the same, almost like androids, or robots, they all think the same act the same and so on, taking these two factors into consideration, I must confess that Hell sounds more to my liking anyway. Furthermore I've always resented being told that I must believe in this or that to make it to heaven, or else, that's not my understanding as to what a loving god would do , or be like my god the god of Karma wouldn't do that to me , but if he did I know I would have lots of company!

If God is so unjust as to put my marvelous spouse in Hell, what's the point of Heaven? I'd walk into Hell without looking back.

How petty are the concerns of mortal men? When will you learn, the only absolutes are god's love and your perception of it. If you see everything as having a bad side, you will always find the bad side of everything. If you accept the good in all things whether you initially see it or not. The good will be revealed to you in wondorous ways. If you practice god's love, by doing unto other as you would have them do unto you. You will be rewarded with an inner peace and happiness that will be infectious to those around you. The only true evil lives in the hearts of men. If you deny that evil and love your fellow man without judging him, you move yourself closer to heaven everyday. If you are wronged, and forgive you remove the power of the wrong to affect you. If you expect nothing you will never be disappointed. If you give nothing but kindness you will always be rewarded. Hell is self-imposed, heaven is your right and destiny all you have to do is embrace it.

If there is a God I would like to think He's paying more attention to the state of the world (cause it's a mess right now) than whether me and my spouse are going to step into hell. I think He thinks you're over thinking this....remember He visited His friends and went to weddings....He knew there was a time and place for everything.

Trick question! If heaven is truly heaven, she will be there too, hopefully free of the burden of whatever she did to get into Hell. I wonder if it works like that. If Heaven is all you want, and you want a loved one out of hell, does that bypass the rules? Maybe a copy is made...

I don't really believe in God, so it's a moot point. However, if there was a God, a heaven and a hell, I'm pretty sure my wife is already going to heaver. If my going to heaver meant she was forced to go to hell, I'd step back and take it like a man. If there really is a hell, I'm probably going there anyway, why screw her over. If she ever divorces me, though... all bets are off!

Are you kidding me? It's a no brainer babe. And anyway, there is no hell. If God teaches us to love our enemies, why in the world would he torture his in a fiery place forever and ever. Look hell up in the dictionary. The Hebrew word is Sheol. The Greek word is hades. Both are hell. Definition?= The common grave of mankind. That's it. I swear. That's it. Think about it. What was the penalty when Adam sinned in the garden of Eden. God simply said...."You will positively die." That's it...no more life. NOT some horrible place of torture. Just the opposite of life........death.

When your time comes to leave this earth, you answer to God as an individual. Whether you go to Heaven or Hell you go alone there are no couples. In my life God is First and foremost! then my family. I will be in Heaven and like the rest of us we have to pray for our families that they are christians and go to heaven with us, as I know my family will.

I would leave my spouse and go to heaven. In torment and without the light of God's love, it would not be long before I was incapable of thinking of my spouse anyway. I'd be thinking about the immense pain I was in.

This is a ridiculous question. There is no choice to join someone anywhere. You either are accepted or aren't and HE already knows the answer to that. Spouses are already wherever they are and all we can hope, knowing them and their value when they were on earth, is that they are already there for eternity., and with spiritual belief and good living, you would join them in the glory of the Lord forever........
