I turned 40 and would like to go back to school but don't know what career path to take. I am hoping that you may have found a career that doesn't come with a mandatory retirement age and can recomend it to me.

I would prefer to be able to continue working in this career one or two days a week when I get older. I really admire my uncle who is a Psychologist but I can see that with that career it can take a while to build up a client base.

Any thoughts?

You sound like a perfect candidate for a home business. The hours are right and you are creating leverage as well as residual income. When you choose to retire, your business will continue to earn you money based on what you have built. It is much easier than most people think, inexpensive to get started and provides mentoring and training from people who have found success. By doing this, you are eliminating all of the usual problems like salary caps and forced retirement. You are also taking control of your destiny and a lot of perks go with that. I have found something that the baby boomers are looking for and find that it sells itself, each day when I turn on my computer, I see how my business has grown, now That's exciting!
