Yes. before bodywash came along all we used was normal handsoap! bodywash is just a liquid form of soap with extra moisturiser.

HOWEVER, soap can dry your skin out so it is advised to buy either a hand soap or bodywash with extra moisturisers in it.

You could probably replace your handsoap with bodywash if you wanted to stop buying two seperate products.

If you want a cheap bodywash, try sorbelene cream. It also moisturises as it cleans.

I've read the labels on "Shampoo" "Body Wash" and "Handsoap" and it's basically the same thing, which is why I refuse to buy a different kind of soap for washing my hair, washing my body, and washing my hands. I use liquid bodywash to wash both my hair, and my body. The contents in bodywash and shampoo are nearly exact, therefore they can be interchangable.

I use antibacterial handsoaps, so I wouldn't want the antibacterial soap to dry out my skin, but because all soaps have the same general indegrients, they are in fact interchangeable. :)

Why waste money buying 4 different kinds of soaps, when you can buy 2 and have the exact same results?

Absolutely not! Handsoap gets dirty and goopy in the soap dish. Yuck!! Bodywash is cleaner, and less drying for the skin. But if someone has to use soap, cleanliness is more important that soap choice. Have a good night!!

i will agree with mariah because handsoap will dry out your skin. true it will keep it clean but you will be haunted by dry skin in need of natural minerals and nutrients provided my bodywash.

I have. Soaps dont last as long as the body washes.
I use Olay body wash to bathe in anti-bacteria liquid soap to wash my hands.

Well of course, why not? Soap is more economical.
