If you are the submissive and you disobey your master should you get a spanking and/or other forms of "punishment" and "torture"?

Yes I think you should, you should never disobey your master, some people need a good spanking!

A submissive should get exactly was they deserve, but that's a very open question. If a submissive refuses to obey an order from a Dominant (Master, Mistress, etc.) that is harmful for the submissive, then they should not be punished for standing up for their right to not be abused. (This is abuse in the legal sense.) However, if the submissive is disobeying an order that would otherwise be expected, then the prerogative is upon the Dominant to respond.
I guess that it depends on the context of the violation. If it is in the act of play, then I suppose that corporal "punishment" would likely be the situation. However, if it is in a more serious context, the punishment is more likely to be more psychological, such as refusing the submissive to watch their favourite television programme or to perform some extra duties not normally assigned. This might be because the submissive might be trying to prod the Dominant into a S/m action. If corporal punishment does come into play, it's likely to be painful in a less-pleasurable way without be abusive.
Ultimately, this is an aspect of a D/s relationship that is decided between every couple, so no two responses are going to be exactly the same. There might be a general idea of how things turn out, but there's no obligation to conform to them.

Since you have declared yourself to be a submissive, you have expressed the desire to give power to your dominant. S/He should make the decision. He may chose spanking, a lecture, restrictions, or whatever he in his power choses. All, of course, subject to your submissive-dominant agreement. How about for the next week, when you would otherwise be watching tv, you must stand with your nose in the corner, hearing but not seeing the program. Or a quick brisk spanking? Your dominant might tell you to chose. But you shouldn't volunteer a punishment unless he asks you. You can tell him what you like at other times.

If thats your thing or even perhaps your lifestyle I say go for it. I'm more a spanking for fun type of a person, more the bottom than a submissive.
But I do love doms though... they are so cute when they think that they're in charge.

In sub/dom relationships, spankings should be expected. But you should have drawn the rules ahead of time. Plus you should have a safe-word. Google this and learn.
