Why is it that people answer questions when they don't have the facts or they just plain don't know what they are talking about?

To annoy you, or just to get the two points - or maybe they believe they know what they're talking about and aren't aware of their ignorance - or maybe you just say they don't know what they're talking about because you don't agree with their answer. Take your pick. Oh, thanks for the 2 points. lol

This site operates on a point-based system, so some people seem to get a kick out of getting points for answering things......even though the points don't mean anything......

But I do know what I'm talking about and why do you ask a question that puts others down and makes you look like you do know everything. No one is perfect and neither is this site, it's something to do to pass time......

Some of those answers are funny. And some people di it 'cause they are bored and like to waste your time.

because it is fun and some people like to use the computer all the time. it is addictive. also you might really can help somebody with a problem that they are having.

Cynthia is right.....but I think a lot of them just like to hear the sound of their own voice, or in this case, see their own answer.

Probably for many different reasons:

a) they are bored
b) for attention
c) they want to feel important
d) they want to seem intelligent to the global community
