I had a conversation about this last week and surprised myself with the answer. Evolution is an amazingly complex process, but maybe God thought it up and set it in motion so that we on this planet could take care of ourselves for a few million years while he focused his attention on some other corner of the universe. Works for me.

i do not believe in evolution.. i have watched a certain program on tv which explains why or how evolution is not true.. it was really explained well but i could not remember all the details.. it was said that LIFE COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY "EVOLVED" FROM NONLIVING MATERIALS.. there was a very little chance of that happening.. (like the chance of picking up a winning lottery ticket on the street everyday for a thousand years!) i think that today still scientists are not able to produce life from nonliving materials or factors.. i believe that SCIENCE DOES NOT CONTRADICT GOD INSTEAD SCIENTIFIC FACTS PROVE AND SUPPORT THAT THERE IS A HIGHER BEING WHO MADE ALL THESE THINGS.. some things that are written in the Bible>> that the world is round.. and that the earth hangs on nothing.. and that there are mountains underneath the oceans and seas.. and that the things which are visible are not made of things which can be seen.. it was written way ahead of discoveries that the earth is round, and that it floats in space and that there are really mountains in the oceans and that the things you see are made up of smaller particles, molecules and atoms, cells..
one example cited was like this, the cloud is 90% water.. jellyfish is 90% water.. watermelon is 90% water... we live in the same planet.. breathe the same air.. have same Creator.. surely we must have something in common..
the whole food industry relies or survives because evolution is not true.. for example.. if life could evolve from non living materials.. at any point somehow in time when you open a jar of peanut butter.. you should find a new life there.. but it does not happen.. ( im sorry, the program explains way better than me, hehe! )
This is a really broad topic but from what i know and understand, this is what i believe in.. the heavens declare the power and the glory of the One who made them.. =)

Speaking of blood types: always speak with two words, aka chromosomes :)
Genetically blood type "B" is either B/O or B/B, "A" is either A/O or A/A, "AB" is A/B and "O" is O/O. In the example of classyjazzcreations, her mom would be B/O, passing on the chromosome carrying B-type and her dad O/O, passing on the chromosome carrying O-type. (Ref1)
No one claims that humanoids evolved from chimps or/and gorilla's. At best it can be postulated that some common ancestoral population pool had both A and B blood types and that this genetic marker drifted during the evolution of humanoid/ape branches. The drift of blood type allele is very common, even in the Homo sapiens population by itself (check out ref2). It would certainly be an evolutional enigma if chimps, gorilla's and the like were running around with blood types X, Y, Z or you name it. Instead they have the A*/B*/OO types albeit in an uneven distribution, just like the humanoid population.
As to existance/non-existance, while it is true you can't prove that something does not exist, whether one believes it or not does is a different matter altogether since believe does not require proof.
Poor leprechauns, non-existing because I don't believe they exist :)

I don't believe in Evolution, I observe it every day and know that it is a mechanism by which species evolve on this planet. We have all witnessed the evolution of bacteria, of insects, and of mammals through breeding. It is a mechanism that works, that exists naturally in the world, and so what is there to believe in... it happens and exists independent of my belief. I don't think the same can be said for the presence of a God. Without the belief of humans, would there be a God that had created everything and led to the existence of all the diverse species? I don't think so, and I think that is evident by the fact that God cannot be observed outside of the human consciousness.

Some fundamentalists want you to believe that evolution is controversial. Fact is, in the scientific community evolution is not more controversial than the idea that the Sun is at the center of the solar system.
Evolution is controversial in the sense that some wicked fundamentalists who don't understand evolution think that it's contradictory to the Book of Genesis. Well, if you think that some fanatics' interpretation of a 2000+ years old book is a more reliable source of knowledge than thousands of peer-reviewed articles based on reproducible evidence, then you might as well believe in the Loch Ness monster or in flat Earth cosmology.

The most simple design, which was created
by the God / Nature , is atom of hydrogen.
The most complex design, which was created
by the God / Nature , is the Man.
The Man is alive essence.
Animals, bird, fish are alive essences.
And an atom?
And atom is also alive design.
The atom of hydrogen lives 12 minutes.
And someone a long time ago has already said, that if
to give suffices time to atom of hydrogen, he will turn into Man.
Therefore, the one, who creates a general picture of Life,
must consider development of evolution of Life from atom up to the Man.
* * *
Once upon a time, in the beginning, there was one "single point " accidentally.
Then it has caught a cold accidentally and has blown up: Big Bang " has taken place.
It was the reason of accidental creation of some hundreds
(thousands) kinds of elementary particles and their girlfriends - antiparticles.
Then stars were formed accidentally.
Then the Planet the Earth was formed accidentally.
Then atom of hydrogen was accidentally formed.
Then complex atom was accidentally formed.
Then was accidentally formed vegetative and fauna.
Then the man was created accidentally.
And this man can accidentally think logically.
But of course, unfortunately, not always.

I believe in creation by a supreme being, and that being is GOD.
However, for those who still are in doubt, here is a bit of scientific backing from the blood bank. These docters are scientists too.

The Theory of Evolution
Oh, yes..... one more thing on the subject of evolution. Many published studies over recent years have shown that chimpanzees mostly have Blood type A, almost no Blood type O, but never Blood type B. The other great ape, the gorilla has Blood type B, almost no Blood type O, but never Blood type A. In these 'man-apes' species, said to be the ancestors of man, there is NO Blood type AB in either. Generally speaking, man has both Blood types A and B, and Blood type AB. Blood type O, in man is by far the most common in virtually every racial group.
So you see, the evolution theory is just that. One man's theory. Seems to me, that some great minds, over looked a great detail. If we evolved from apes, how come our life's source didn't evolve with us?

I believe in both.
I believe that god created all life, but he also created life so that it could adapt and evolve. I don't believe that the Earth was created 5 or 6 thousand years ago (or whatever the Bible says), even though I'm Catholic. I believe that the Bible creation story (adam and eve, the whole Genisis Book), is just a way for God to tell us that he created the heavens and the earth.

i think that evolution is pathetic (no offense) but i have studied it a lot and every thing i have learned has brought me right back to the bible and i think thats pretty amazing! you know all the stuff about the ice age? well i was thinking about it and the floud, and i think that all of the "evolutionist's" evidence proves that there was a floud not an "ice age". but you may like to believe in evolution but i think since you have researched evolution, you should try to research the bible and really spend some time reading it you may be surprised at what you might find in it! it's pretty cool and it's not just about doing good things like you may have observed from a distance but if you really look into it you may find that a lot of it is about choices. choices that will change your life!

I cannot make you believe something that you don't want to believe, but I urge you to use discernment, reason and logic when thinking about evolution- all the things evolutionists accuse us of not using , but really- do the principles of evolution make sense? If this has taken place over the course of millions of years, little by little, then we are being decieved when we are told we are looking for "the missing link" we are looking for millions of missing links- besides that- there are so many common sense, scientific questions that evolution just cannot answer- no matter how you twist it.
If you are really interested in education and not just disproving something that does not fit your mold- read this article, it is fun reading but very informative and common sense-

here are other bits of interesting fact for you to ponder :
Charles Dawson, a British lawyer and amateur geologist announced in 1912 his discovery of pieces of a human skull and an apelike jaw in a gravel pit near the town of Piltdown, England . . . Dawson's announcement stopped the scorn cold. Experts instantly declared Piltdown Man (estimated to be 300,000 to one million years old), the evolutionary find of the century. Darwin's missing link had been identified. Or so it seemed for the next 40 or so years. Then, in the early fifties . . . scientists began to suspect misattribution. In 1953, that suspicion gave way to a full-blown scandal: Piltdown Man was a hoax . . . tests proved that its skull belonged to a 600-year-old woman, and its jaw to a 500-year-old orangutan from the East Indies." Our Times--the Illustrated History of the 20th Century (Turner Publishing, 1995, page 94).
Science Fiction
The Piltdown Man fraud wasn't an isolated incident. The famed "Nebraska Man" was built from one tooth, which was later found to be the tooth of an extinct pig. "Java Man" was found in the early 20th Century, and was nothing more than a piece of skull, a fragment of a thigh bone and three molar teeth. The rest came from the deeply fertile imaginations of plaster of Paris workers. "Heidelberg Man" came from a jawbone, a large chin section and a few teeth. Most scientists reject the jawbone because it's similar to that of modem man. Still, many evolutionists believe that he's 250,000 years old. No doubt they pinpointed his birthday with good old carbon dating. Now there's reliable proof. Not according to Time magazine (June 11, 1990). They published an article in the science section that was subtitled, "Geologists show that carbon dating can be way off." Don't look to "Neanderthal Man" for any evidence of evolution. Recent genetic DNA research indicates the chromosomes do not match those of humans. They do match those of bipedal primates (apes).
What does Science Say?
Here are some wise words from a few respected men of science: "Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless." (Professor Louis Bounoure, Director of Research, National Center of Scientific Research). "Evolution is unproved and unprovable." (Sir Arthur Keith--he wrote the foreword to the 100th edition of, Origin of the Species). "Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever." (Dr. T. N. Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission, USA).
"To suppose that the eye . . . could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree." Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species
