That will depend upon the sign, house placement and the aspects to that natal Moon, so I'm unable to choose the best and worst placements.

It's actually really hard to do that because you really need to look at the entire chart and how it all relates to everything else.

Sometimes what one person believes to be a negative can turn out to be a positive. It's all how you look at it and work within what you are given in your chart.

Also to note, the Moon secondary progresses (internal changes rather than out ward like a transit), which means it changes signs and houses throught your lifetime. The secondary progressed moon spends 2 1/2 years in each sign as it travels through your chart.

Also note that if you look into your past and determine when the progressed Moon passed over any one of the four angles in your chart (that is, the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, and IC) you will see that these progressions/passages often mark rather significant times in your life. Also significant is the progression of the Moon in aspect to Natal planets and points.

You can look up your progressed chart on http://www.astro.com and select the "extended charts selection" feature, towards the bottom of the page.

Select "natal and progressed chart" under chart type and "Placidus" house system. I use the "Astrodienst" chart style, the one below the default.

Then select "show me the chart".

You can see your progressed Moon in the house and sign in the outside ring in green.

And select "click to get additional tables" to get your aspects with the Moon. It pops up on a separate page in a grid.

I don't know how old you are, but Capricorn and Saturn in your chart tends to mellow out and soften as bit as you age.

Is attracting Aries or Scorpio a bad thing, or good for you? xD I never get those. I checked my friend list the other day.. and over 80% of those, were Virgos. And the others were Capricorn. There was maybe one leo, one scorpio, one pisces, and one aquarius. But I've Never been friends with a Libra, and I have no idea where the Virgos came from. xD It became a thing. Whenever I get a friend.. I laugh and say, 'I bet they're Capricorns.' And run to check. That's out of like..240 friends too; I don't know where they come from. My personal opinion is that if you are a fire sign, the best moon sign would be a water sign, to balance you. And visa-versa. If you are an air sign, the best moon sign would be an earth sign...same principle. I'm an Aries with Pisces moon and rising signs. If I was all fire signs....Lord!! I wouldn't have a friend in the whole world--no one could stand me!!!!!!!

Traditionally, the moon is seen as exalted in Taurus, where astrologers feel the qualities of the moon are best expressed. The moon is considered in its dignity in Cancer.

Conversely, the moon is in its fall in Scorpio, where the expression of the moon's qualities are hampered. The moon is in its detriment in Capricorn.
