Would I still be able to be on Answers????
The thought just occured to me and now I'm scared....!
Please help me put my fears to rest!

Hey, you've got friends. We'd help ya out. You know how true friends are, though, we'd have to play tricks on you sometimes... not that there's anything wrong with that. I'd have you think you were answering a Not George question while you were clicked on a serious question posted by a undercover member of the Yahoo! police force!

Don't be scared honey!
There are programs that you can get for the PC and a blind person can use it. It reads the text too ya and then you can talk and it types it.

they have computer programs that read and then use a voice so you can hear it, then you can either type the answer in on your regular keyboard or a Braille keyboard, or use their voice recognition program and it will turn your words into computer language..
or I can come and read for you then type what ever t is you want me to type.
it is your choice.
but you WILL not go blind!

I hope your little girl can read for u. on second thought, maybe she shouldnt read some of the things here. isnt there some software or something that says yhe words on a page?

I think that Kojack has really got some good insights. (no pun intended) Just be sure to look away from the monitor occasionally. I know it's tough, but you can do it.

there are computers that are made especially for the blind that read and describe what is on the screen.. so you will be FINE.. not to worry!

if you know all the keys and maybe have a special computer than I don't see why not and don't worry, you won't go blind. You'll be fine. :)
