Personally, I listen to no rap by choice. I am a classics appreciator, and my version of music is very limited. I do not see anything special about rap that would warrant my attention. Also, I wouldn't listen to any kind of song for pleasure that concerns most of those topics, I find that there are more meaningful, and worthwhile things that can be expressed artfully and in a more beautiful sense that I would find more enjoyable.

how about u just stop with all these postings about rap lovers and hating and stop trying to make a point when u r probably a rap hater yourself and don't know the half of rap or hip hop (and i know u probably don't won't to or might bring up normal topics people are oblivious to seeing thats it's not the only thing rap talks about) and just stop

Artists from every kind of musical style sing about this stuff. I listen to artists I respect and who don't sing about these things.
