I normally don't pay attention to celeb news, but I could help but wonder about this one. Is it merely a conincidence that he put out a movie about the crucifiction of Christ or was the movie motivated by hate?

NO.

He told the story of Christ's crucifixion, and it wasn't PRETTY.

That was the reality of it. As it happened according to history.

Jews did it, and he showed it.

And that's all there is to it.

No, that is what happened to Christ according to the Bible. I think Mel Gibson was trying to make the movie as close to the Bible as he could -- he doesn't hate Christ. Give Mel a break, he is human and humans make stupid mistakes and sins. That is what Christ died for is our sins. I think the media is just making too much out of the whole thing --- as they usually do about most things like this.

Motivated by hate.

Mel Gibson is an alcoholic, do you really think he could actually make a pure movie about that kind of thing?

It's obvious the man has a dislike for jews....maybe even hate. I hope his fans think hard about supporting such a racist.
But I agree with Fox news.....there's WARS going on every where around us......Enough already about gibson and his drinking problems, hating jews and women, etc, etc.

I heard that his father strongly disliked Jews, i think he made the movie just to prove he wasn't like him! I think the slurs came out of his mouth cuz they were in the back of his mind. We all say stupid sh-t when we are drunk, but it's stuff we don't have the balls to say when we are sober. I think he really hates Jews but won't admit it!!!
