Yes there is. Some people have told me that windows xp pro can do this but I have not verified it. I know of course with windows xp if you are the PC owner you can put files in your own area and no one else can get to them unless they log on as you. But hurray I think I have something that you would like.

But you will need to contact me and I will give you the URL. Because that's not allowed here. It's a great program I know of. I don't even think you need administer rights either to use it but you might.

The program I know of is 100% from the URL I can give you. Its simple to use and I can help you use it if you would like. It can hide , encrypt and lock files and folders. It works well I even tried to get access to the folders though dos mode and it blocks them there too.

There are some quick and easy ways to protect files If the people you are trying to protect them from don't know a lot about computers. Try this.. putting the files in a folder that's not where the people would think to look and in the file properties mark them as hidden (then they wont show up on the screen as something you can look at). There are several software titles out there that allow you to lock files. Probably the BEST way of protecting sensitive files on a public computer (ie a family computer) is don't store them on the computer. Go out and buy a USB flash drive (500 meg for less than 20 bucks) and keep the USB flash drive elsewhere.

Open the ZIP folder and decide report > upload a password. form the password and verify. The archives would be seen to all people that opens the folder. yet whilst they open a report, they are going to be led to for a password. it fairly is a thank you to do this in XP without 0.33 social gathering software.
