Granted it was gay sex but hey that is the way swung.

Is that the best way to die?

The 'other guy' was more than like paid for his services. He just ran out and left poor Paul there to die. Didn't even call 9-11.

You certainly wouldn't know if you were coming or going........

Paul Lynde was unpredictable and hilarious throughout his whole career. One never new what was coming next. He is a gay icon because he was one of the first to be "campy" before anyone else had the guts to be.

I have read a couple of book on Paul. I don't think he was very happy in real life. Lots of booze, drugs, and any other escape he could find.

As for your question of wanting to go the same way? No, I would not want to die so fast. I also don't want to drag it out for months either. For me...I'd like a nice little two week illness in the hospital where all my friends can come by to weep and slobber awhile, and then one night I'll just drift blissfully away while a big burly orderly gets up on my bed, straddles my chest, and dangles his giblets in my face.....

(nothing like a little pre-view of Heaven..lol)

I'd rather go out having fun than suffering. Not the best way to die, but one of the better ones.

No, it's not a good way to go. Must've been terrible for the other guy too.
