Recently (within the last 10 years) there have been accidents that caused injury or fatalities on Big Thunder Mountain and California Screamin'. Most often, it is guest stupidity that contributes to accidents, such as standing up on a roller coaster.

However, within the last 5 years, Disney management has done much to improve ride safety and overall guest safety. As long as you abide by the safety rules, you will be fine.

Big Thunder Mt. Railroad. There was an accident there some years ago. Actually, there have been a couple of accidents but less than 20 people have died since the park's opening.

i am not sure what ride its called but there's one there that's faster than the speed of gravity. a person (kid, older guy, i dunno) died on it (if i am not mistaken) in the last 3 or 4 months. it was fairly recent though.
