There's a free program called "Picasa 2". One of the effects within that program enables you to turn any graphic to black and white. It's a free download, available at the below link. Good luck.

Using Paintshop or paintbrush change the layers. Change background and foreground colours and select the shade, brightness/contrast.
If u cant change the monitor ( if u want to view) or use a laser/inkjet printer (without colour cartridge) to take the prinout on a hard copy.

Do you have imaging software like Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Paintshop Pro? You need one of those, or something similar to do it.
